Local resources:

 Alternative Horizons (AH)- offers assistance and alternatives to victims/survivors of domestic violence and educates residents of the community about such abuse.

• Adult Sex Offender Management Program - 6th judicial district

• La Plata Registered Sex Offenders

• Volunteers Of America SW Safe House - The Southwest Safe House provides a safe refuge for women and children who have no safe home, and provides the tools and support needed for women and children to recover from trauma and start a new life.  

 Community Resource Center - A guide to local (Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma, and San Juan counties) resources and information, including crisis services, housing information, and program descriptions.

 

Colorado resources:

Colorado Anti-Violence Program- provides direct services, including crisis intervention, information, and referrals for LGBTQ survivors.

Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA)- CCASA works with local organizations throughout the state, providing education, training, and prevention initiatives; influencing public policy; advocating for resources; and promoting offender accountability.

Women and Gender Advocacy Center (WGAC)- WGAC Colorado State University's program that provides advocacy to student victims of sexual and/or interpersonal violence, stalking and harassment.
